The Begging Three

The one people food treat the dogs get is a bite of Jonathan's cereal in the morning. They will be in a dead sleep under the covers and hear the cereal hit the bowl and be next to him on the couch waiting for their special bite. Ethan has now gotten in on the game and throws elbows to be first in line for his bite. It is so cute to watch!

After 14 months, I have finally taught Ethan the value of cleaning. He does enjoy the tools but prefers to do it his way (scatter the dust bunnies all over the house).

Dinner at the Concessi's

Edda and Mike are dear friends from my GE program days - I have known them for nearly 11 years. Like Jonathan and me, they met through work, feel in love, followed each other around the country, got married, had kid(s on their part as they have 3 BOYS) and now we all live about 15 minutes away from one another in KS.

Their youngest, Carlo is about 8 months old and such a sweet and cute little boy. Although Ethan enjoyed looking a the baby, he was all about trying to play with the bigger boys, Anthony and Dominic.

Bath Time

May 2008 - The return of the "fauxhawk"

Ethan has been quite wiggly lately so he usually gets stripped one item at a time in anticpation of nightly bath time. We just graduated to the big boy tub a couple of weeks ago and I do think Ethan is enjoying the space.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was great this year, I got Starbucks, cards, flowers, presents, spa certificates - and best of all time with all my kids (Buddy and Daisy are included) and hubby. My boys took me out to brunch and then later in the day we went over to Jonathan's parents for dinner.

I tried several times to get pictures with my son - and none of them excellent....maybe next year.

Ethan did learn how to push a truck from watching his cousin, Ryan and was pooped by the time we got home!

The First Haircut

Or, "hairchut" as my nephews call it...




Jonathan finally demanded that I take Ethan to get his hair cut as he had been mistaken for a girl 4 times in a two week period. Now, I will tell you that although he is quite beautiful and his hair was a little long....he wears nothing BUT boy clothes. Nevertheless, we went in and the pictures pretty much show what Ethan thought of his first haircut. The stylist gave him the cut that Jim Carey had in "Dumb and Dumber", it was straight bowl cut across the front!

We go through this routine every few dates and thankfully Daisy is very patient watching her "home" be disrupted. I would have to say that it is about the right size.....
