Thankfully, everyone had read my 2 full pages of intructions sent out weeks prior to the event so they were prepared (ha). Rehearsing actually did not take that long, which is good b/c it was pretty hot that afternoon. 
Following the rehearsal, the Benjamin's hosted the bridal party and immediate family at Pacifica on El Paseo in Palm Desert. We picked Pacifica, because it's sister restaurant in Del Mar was one of our favorite places in San Diego and also for the outdoor seating - we had an entire patio to ourselves.
After dinner, Ron busted out with the cigars and we enjoyed mingling after sitting for dinner at tables. I think last call was a lot later than everyone attended, but we had a nice, relaxing evening.
